Appeal to trace Leeds man over serious assault

Police are appealing for information to trace a man who is wanted in connection with a serious assault in South Leeds.

Leeds District CID want to trace Benjamin Kendal, aged 29, from Moortown, in connection with a serious assault on a 37-year-old man in Hunslet on June 4. The victim has lost the sight in one eye as a result of the attack.

Despite extensive enquiries since the incident, officers have been unable to trace Kendal. It is believed he may have grown a beard since the incident.
