From wellbeing groups, dads’ groups, family teas to keeping fit and lots more, here’s your guide to what’s on at Belle Isle Family Centre, St John and St Barnabas Church, off Belle Isle Road. Contact 277 4819.

Mondays

Belle Isle Family Centre Cafe: Open 7.30am-1.30pm, serving good value hot and cold breakfasts, hot lunches, snacks and a range of drinks.

Women’s Well Being Group: Meet up for a chat and a cuppa. 1pm-3pm. Contact Linda Baker on 2716277.

Child’s Play, 2-3.15pm, Come and join our dads’ and children’s play session. Advice, art & play activities and free refreshments. Contact Tom Senior on 07852 167520.

Tuesdays

Belle Isle Family Centre Cafe: Open 7.30am-1.30pm, serving hot and cold breakfasts, hot lunches, snacks and a range of drinks.

Incredible Years: (booking form required) 10am-noon. Contact Kam on 277 4819.

Fun @ Family Tea, 3.30-5pm, come and join us for a healthy home-cooked meal plus activities including games, arts and crafts. Children £1,  parents £2.50.

Dads group – Mural 2: Runs from 6-8pm. Culminates in the completion of two murals on the dividing screens in the hall.  Contact Tom Senior on  07852 167520.

Wednesdays

Belle Isle Family Centre Cafe: Open 7.30am-1.30pm, serving hot and cold breakfasts, hot lunches, snacks and a range of drinks. Pensioners’ lunchtime special, 12-1pm, home-cooked main course, pudding and tea/coffee or £3.50

Women’s Empowerment (WE) programme: Contact Kamaljit Benton on 277 4819.

Friday

Friends and food group: Supports families with low or no income, from 9am to 1pm. Contact Bev Walker on 07761 110480.

Work Club: (Alternate Fridays) 10am-12pm. Support to help you find a job. Contact Kam on 2774819.

Saturday

Dads’ Group: Dads spend quality time with their kids. Activities, fun and games for children and dads.
