Leeds City Council Inner South Community Committee
Applying for Small Grants – Training course -5th February 2015
This session is aimed at groups looking for small grants of up to around £10,000 to help run and expand their activities and services. We will identify how best to approach a range of funders e.g local council pots, national lottery pots such as Awards for All, charitable trust funding and one-off funds, by looking at what makes a successful application form or letter and know how they will be assessed.
The Course will help you to:
• Be aware of what funders want to know about your group and project
• Answer key questions on application forms
• Know how to draft an application letter
The course is suitable for: any voluntary or community group new to completing funding application forms and letters.
