 Beeston Runners Unite!!

The one hundredth Cross Flats Park run took place on Saturday 14 March 2015. Five kilometres the requirement, open to all ages and running abilities. The park has provided the backdrop for 1,232 runners taking part in the last two years. Every Saturday at nine in the morning, runners join this weekly event, utilising this beautiful inner city park and collectively promoting exercise and fitness in Beeston. This special occasion brought extra runners to the park, young and old, experienced and new to running,

Quote Kenneth Ingram: “Although park is in Beeston. People come from all over Leeds. I know many come from Belle Isle, Middleton and Morley to name a few places. There is a fantastic atmosphere, and it seems everyone knows there running mates names, they certainly know mine.”
