If you think that the Hunslet Club is just about sport for boys then think again.
Better still pay a visit to their showcase event at the White Rose Shopping Centre this Sunday (21 September 2014) to find out about the wide range of activities the club provides for members of all ages.
From gymnastics for tots to tap dancing, cheer leading to classes in singing and performing arts, there will be displays and performances going on throughout the day between 11am and 4pm in the performance space between Next and Boots, as well as a chance to talk to coaches and trainers responsible for the very successful football and rugby teams run by the Hunslet Club.
White Rose Centre Director James Bailey said:
“One of the exciting things about choosing the Hunslet Club as our local charity partner this year was finding out what a huge range of activities it offers for members of all ages from sports to performing arts. I’m sure that Sunday’s showcase will prove to be a real eye-opener for a lot of people and prove to our shoppers that there is a lot more to the Hunslet Club than games for boys.”
