Join the Community Committee to discuss highways issues

The Leeds City Council’s Inner South Community Committee will be meeting next Wednesday (15 June 2016) and the workshop session will debate highways issues.

Committee Chair Cllr Angela Gabriel said:

“The theme for the event will be Highways, so if you want to hear about the priorities for the areas you live in, please come along. We also really want to hear your views and opinions – it’s your meeting, so please feel free to join in and provide your feedback.”

The workshop will hear about key areas in the area from senior council officers; the Police perspective; and making streets safer for pedestrians Living Streets. There will also be a chance for residents to raise their own issues in ward by ward table discussions.

The meeting is being held at Hugh Gaitskell Primary School, St Anthony’s Drive, Beeston, LS11 8AB. Sandwiches and refreshments will be provided from 5pm.
