The award is made to an accountancy firm which has provided outstanding and innovative first class service and is a shining example to the industry, leading the way in best practice.

The presentation was made at the accountancy body’s black-tie President’s Dinner hosted by the broadcaster Andrew Castle held in London on the evening of 5 October 2017.

WYCAS is a charity supporting predominantly voluntary and community organisations to manage their finances more effectively and efficiently. WYCAS helps over 500 different organisations each year many from the most disadvantaged communities in West Yorkshire. WYCAS provides them with access to specialist finance and accounting support that would otherwise be inaccessible on the grounds of cost or social connection.

Chris Tatham, the WYCAS Chief Officer said:

“We are absolutely delighted and honoured that our work to improve the financial management and stewardship of charitable and other funding has been recognised by the AIA with this award.”

WYCAS supports many charities and community groups in South Leeds to find out how they can help you go to www.wycas.org.uk or call (0113) 270 6291.
