Come to Morley Next weekend Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April for the Annual St George’s weekend.
On the Saturday: It starts at 9am and finishes at 4pm
There will be stalls along Queen Street plus Live Stage show with acts such as:
- Jamie-Leigh-Fish
- Girl Band (Against Habit)
- Lil Gee
- Gemma Hopton
- Fiscal Academy
On Queen Street there will be Morris Dancing and street entertainment by the Rapide Brothers, stilt walking and St George. Also there is going to be a fun fair and lots of attractions, plus donkey rides as well.
On The Sunday:
There is a parade outside the Town Hall at 11:30am and then moving off to the Rugby and Cricket Fields accompanied by the Yorkshire Volunteer Band at 12noon.
Also a number of activities are Taking Place All Day Including:
- Punch and Judy with Performances at (12:45pm .1:45pm , 2:45pm)
- Falconry and Fun Fair attractions At 2pm
- Plus Live Stage Show: headlined by up and coming local band The World Keeps at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm
