Slideshow: litterpick and family fun in the sun

Beeston residents descended on Cross Flatts Park on Sunday (13 May 2018) to give it a bit of TLC with a community litter pick, followed by some relaxing fun in the sun.

The event was organised by Aspiring Communities in partnership with Into University and Beeston In Bloom, it was funded by local councillors on the Inner South Community Committee.

Shaz Akhtar, one of the organisers said:

“What a fantastic event today! The litter pick and activities went down a storm. Aspiring communities would like to give a massive thank you to all that attended and bigger thanks to all our supporting organsations and thier volunteers: Into University, Beeston In Bloom and Leeds City Council.”
