The Friends of Middleton Park brought the Northern Kite Group to the Clearings once again this weekend (20-21 May 2017) for the annual Kite Festival.
The South Leeds skies were littered with giant ladybirds, fish, pigs, jellyfish and was it a purple teddy bear or a fox? The huge kites were matched by dozens of small handmade kites made by children in the kite workshop.
