The sun shone on South Leeds this weekend and people came out to enjoy a range of activities on offer.
Hunslet Gala drew the crowds on Saturday afternoon (21 June 2014). Residents enjoyed browsing the stalls, playing on the inflatables and were entertained by Punch and Judy and the Rapide Brothers clowns as well as local dance and majorettes groups.
In Middleton Park, council sports development staff were joined by The Works and Hunslet Hawks to offer a range of sports activities. Sunday afternoon saw the Friends of Cross Flatts Park’s first Bands in the Park concert featuring Alligator Gumbo.
