South Leeds Music Centre hosts Christmas coffee morning concert

The acting head of South Leeds Music Centre Sopie Bevan has sent us the following information:

“I’m emailing to invite you to the South Leeds Music Centre coffee morning concert, which will be held on the 10th December, at Cockburn High School in Beeston. All the students have been working hard all year, and are really looking forward to this concert, the first in our new venue!

“This year we are raising money for our mini music makers group, who are in need of some new percussion instruments. We are hoping to raise £100 for a new set of instruments for this growing group, to help them get the best start to their musical education.

“This year we are also holding our first home-made mince pie competition, with an exciting prize for the best ones. We are looking for people to judge the competition, and were wondering if you would be interested?

“The concert morning will run from 10am to noon, with performances from everyone at the music centre, and lots of competitions and prizes. Please feel free to bring friends and family with you.

“Hope to see you there!”
