Westwood public meeting discusses street cleansing, grass cuttings and bin collections

A public meeting has been organised by the Westwood Community Association in Middleton to discuss issues with street cleaning, grass cutting and bin collections on the estate.
The meeting will allow local residents the chance to discuss issues affecting them. In  attendance will be representatives from the council and Aire Valley Homes.
The event is being held on Wednesday, November 14,  at Westwood Primary School hall from 7pm-9pm.
Recent discussions on the group’s Facebook page include problems with dumped rubbish on the estate.
You can report, view, or discuss local problems like graffiti, fly tipping, broken paving slabs, or street  lighting via the Fix My Street website.

  1. Don’t forget if you are fed up with the way your estate is looking and want to do something about it, come along to the meeting and put your questions and gripes to the right people. There is also a free raffle for a mystery prize!!!!
