Older people’s fair in Middleton

We are the National Citizen Service (NCS) team 26. As part of the programme we have to plan and deliver a social action project to our local community.

We are all really passionate about helping the older population as much as we can: we think they deserve so much more time from younger generations simply so that they can live a happy and healthy retirement life, with people on hand to continuously support their needs. Our team has decided to hold a fair for the older population, and anyone who wants to join in, where everyone can come along and enjoy themselves. This will allow them to get to know younger people and remove all of the negative stereotypes that exist.

All of our revenue will be donated directly to Middleton Elderly Aid so that they can continue helping the Middleton Elderly community to give them the happiness, safety and freedom they very much deserve. We would also like to thank ASDA Middleton as they have generously donated some raffle prizes to us for our fair.

If you are free on Friday 31 July 2015 between 12-4pm, please come along and support our cause at St Cross Church in Middleton. We will be selling refreshments, playing games and showing live entertainment.

We would love to see you there!
